　　First of all， I'd like to say I'm so happy to have the opportunity to be here today.

　　My name is KXX. I'm from Huazhong University of Science and Technology， majoring in information engeineering.

　　Last month， I just got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

　　I selected the Institute of Engineering Thermo-physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences to continue my study for its best reputation on XXX where my research interest lies. Thi~ is the first reason. Secondly， I like the academic atmosphere here. Everybody here seems so busy， and this will drive me to work harder to improve myself. Thirdly， you know， Beijing is a highly-developed city.Here offers me a gold opportunity to experience new things and expand my horizon.

　　In the past three years， I've been working very hard. And the results are encouraging: I ranked No.8 in my grade with 429 students in total. And I really hope to be excellent here as how I was before.

　　During this summer， I've designed a system of recycling energy from waste water. And I'll compete in the National Competrkion of energy conservation and pollution reduction designing in Zhejiang University next week. And during my working， I find out that my knowledge is very

　　As for my personality， I am open-minded， quick in thought， creative and easy-going. I am interested in computers， swimming and music. 　　What I have done last year was my dream for many years. I was born and raised in a remote mountain region near Dabieshan. I have a twin brother, but my families only afford to provide a chance of education to only one child, me the lucky one because my brother gave up his. Last year has been full of tears and strikes for me. With strong will for a master’s degree and a chance to learn more, I gave up the job offer of Microsoft last month. My bad health condition also challenged me during my preparation for the test. However, I successfully persisted to the end with a satisfying result. No matter the final result might be, I think I can say to my dear poor brother that I haven’t wasted the chance he sacrificed for me.

　　Jilin University is an very good university located in the cold city of le of Changchun often say that the beautiful city Changchun is located in Jilin University ,the reason is that there are so many campus that we can see the label of JLU everywhere n University is a test base of Chinese higher education and I have witnessed three times president’s change during my four-year university life;

　　The reason why I choose to apply for my master’s degree is that I find what I have learned is far than enough to achieve my I want to research is Artificial people have stricter requirements on automation,effciency and intelligence, we need such intellegent agents like robots to help us. Last year I saw the robot ASIMO made by HONDA in the newspaper, I was shocked and I hope that one day I can create one better than that.

　　I am easygoing . I’d like to communicate with different people. In my spare time, I have broad interests to color myself. Basketball and swimming is my favor. I also sometimes play the guaute ,sing and listen to music. I love reading. besides novels , books about real estate, economic, management are also my love.

　　next, I want to talk about why I look forword to Continue study at graduate school whatever you choose to work or Continue study .everyone know Four years’ study is not enough. someone prefers to train himself at work. But I prefer at graduate school. I hope I can form a systematic view of civil engineering. Graduate study is very helpful for one who want to know civil engineering comprehensively and deeply.If possible, I will go on with my study for doctorate degree.

　　If luckily I got the chanceto learn civil engineering in southeast University, I will concentrate on the study , research and practical application in this field. First, I will work hard on the theoretical knowledge and contact different branches of civil engineering, constructing a solid base for my future work; Second, I would like to do some practical work with the help of the supervisor and classmate. And through this, I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbooks. last, I wanna broad my view, besides knowledge on civil engineering, management、real estate、software are also what I interested in. I will make full use of my graduate time to eich myself. I believe after 3 years of learning, my dream will finally come true……
