　　hello.everyone.it is really good to see you here.i am.....,come from china.this is my first time to this beautiful country ,,i am so delighted to have the opportunity to be here with you guys .i just finished my study in high school ,and i would like to further my study here.but my english is not that good ,i need your help .anyway ,i hope we can enjoy ourselves being together .thank you

　　General Introduction

　　I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

　　Education background

　　In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

　　At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of E-cellent Graduation Thesis.

　　Research e-perience and academic activity

　　When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

　　In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and e-perience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

　　Hello, everybody, let me introduce myself a minute you know me, know me and accept me. I am from Shandong ---, 20 years old this year, my hometown in Chongqing, Sichuan has given me straightforward character, and yet steady, then the long journey to the city of Nanjing to study.

　　In fact, when the first came to college to learn with a certain ideal of my heart out, some depressed at first, but after some time, I recognize the truth, it is optimistic about the Internet Professional. 　　“什么？”來自哪里？全場師生都蒙了，這位同學到底來自哪里？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對，他來自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語老師也是頭一次見，今天學到一個新詞了！全場哄堂大笑！

　　這位同學剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學站了起來，他首先介紹了自己叫什么名字，然后說：I’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國應該沒這個省，難道這位同學說的.是我國的某個市？廣安？對，四川省廣安市！不對，我來自遼寧省！全場又蒙了！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長見識了。

　　接著另外一位同學也站了起來，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“I am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學的介紹，大家這回都有心理準備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的意思，construct是建造、創(chuàng)立的意思，兩個放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個省呢？“湖建”，終于發(fā)現(xiàn)了，是福建！這個翻譯太有才了，跟福建當?shù)乜谝艚Y合不錯，一般人真猜不出來是什么意思！全場再次爆笑！

　　這就是中國式英語的魅力，我們就是這么韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內(nèi)蒙古等等。

　　小地名也有很多，door head valley是北京市門頭溝，west double flag是北京西二旗，哈哈哈！
