　　Hello everybody. My name is Stone. I come from Guangdong province in China. I am very happy to come here to study with you.

　　When I arrived at this school three days ago, I fell in love with it. It is so beautiful and exciting here, and everyone is kind to me, especially Kim. This class feels just like one big family to me.

　　I’m interested in sports, music and mountain climbing. I also enjoy playing soccer. I would love to play with you sometime.

　　Good morning ladies and gentlemen,I’m HuangDong from FuJian Province.It's my pleasure to be here in front of you to introduce myself.I’m a freshman now studying in Materials Science and Engineering and I Just enter the university .

　　About my character, I can’t describe it well, but generally speaking ,I am a hard_working student especially when I do the things I am interested in. And I am optimistic and confident. Sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music, but I am not lonely, In my spare time,I often go shopping with my friends,surf on the Internet and do some sports,such as running,table tennis and roller_skating.

　　I like badminton very much.I even got the 4th place in the badminton Competition in my school,which was a very glorious memory.But now since I’m faced with School and activities,I can’t spend too much time doing sports.But this busy life has also taught me how to balance between study and entertainment.Also I love English very much.I often write compositions to improve my witten ability, but I know my English is not good enough,I still need to make an effort.

　　一位同學(xué)首先介紹自己說：Hello everyone，I’m from river north......

　　“什么？”來(lái)自哪里？全場(chǎng)師生都蒙了，這位同學(xué)到底來(lái)自哪里？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對(duì)，他來(lái)自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語(yǔ)老師也是頭一次見，今天學(xué)到一個(gè)新詞了！全場(chǎng)哄堂大笑！

　　這位同學(xué)剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學(xué)站了起來(lái)，他首先介紹了自己叫什么名字，然后說：I’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國(guó)應(yīng)該沒這個(gè)省，難道這位同學(xué)說的是我國(guó)的某個(gè)市？廣安？對(duì)，四川省廣安市！不對(duì)，我來(lái)自遼寧省！全場(chǎng)又蒙了！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長(zhǎng)見識(shí)了。

　　接著另外一位同學(xué)也站了起來(lái)，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“I am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學(xué)的`介紹，大家這回都有心理準(zhǔn)備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的意思，construct是建造、創(chuàng)立的意思，兩個(gè)放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個(gè)省呢？“湖建”，終于發(fā)現(xiàn)了，是福建！這個(gè)翻譯太有才了，跟福建當(dāng)?shù)乜谝艚Y(jié)合不錯(cuò)，一般人真猜不出來(lái)是什么意思！全場(chǎng)再次爆笑！

　　這就是中國(guó)式英語(yǔ)的魅力，我們就是這么韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內(nèi)蒙古等等。
